FULL CLIENT REVIEW:

We’ve never sold a house before, so we knew this uncharted territory was going to be highly stressful.  Our #1 goal when looking for a realtor was to partner with someone who would minimize this stress.

We have known Dani Frank for years and had heard that she had recently received her Realtor licensing. We had never met Jon Teppo or even heard of TNT Realty, but thought we should contact them to see if they could help with the sale of our house.

Doing some research before meeting, we saw that Jon’s specialty is in Hardwood flooring.  We knew Dani as a talented interior designer.   When we initially met, Jon talked about their strategy for generating showings as well as their ability to use existing contacts within the remodeling industry to help with any contractor projects, should the need arise.  I was happily surprised.

Looking for a low stress house sale,  you would think signing up with a “rookie” and “flooring guy” wouldn’t be a good idea.  (Not true!)  I was also worried that the “Realty” work would play second fiddle to their other businesses.  (Also, not true!)

During the initial meeting, as we toured the house and property, Jon was making notes on things that he would use while marketing the house.  He also pointed out things that we could fix or tweak to help minimize concerns on a buyers part.   Dani was also recommending ways to stage the house interior so that it would be very inviting to any prospective buyer.  At one point, Jon actually apologized for pointing out so many “nit-picky” things – probably fearing that he would lose the listing.  Not so…  I prefer someone who is a straight shooter and will tell me what I need to know, not what he thinks I want to hear.  I came to find that Jon will tell you exactly what he is thinking and also prefers that his clients specify exactly what they want from him.  A great partnering relationship.

For this reason, it just felt right to sign with Jon, Dani, and TNT Realty.  Boy, are we glad we did!

 Low stress - BOOM!

After the offer, the value of TNT and their contacts in the remodeling industry really came to the forefront.  During the house inspection, we found that we had a radon issue which the buyers wanted eliminated.  Being that the closing was scheduled to occur prior to the closing on our new house, the work to install the random mitigation system needed to be done ASAP.  We called a few contractors and could not find anyone who would be able to complete the work prior to closing.  Jon jumped into action, called in a few favors, and found us someone who was willing to move things around in order to hit our timing.  Problem solved!

TNT may not come to the top of your mind if you are looking for a “brand name” realtor in Dane County.  They do not sell dozens of homes per year like others in the area.  They are a small, customer focused realty business who won’t blow smoke at you and will always give you the straight information you need in order to get the best deal on your home.  I had a great, low stress experience with them and would highly recommend them to help you sell your home.

Jon, Dani, and the TNT Team, THANK YOU!
